At this one-day simulcast, we’ll give God time in our busy schedules to hear His voice, spend a day centering our hearts on His Word, and engage with women who, like you, believe God’s Word changes lives. Cost: $25 – this includes snacks and a boxed lunch. We are unable to offer childcare for this event. Please register at npberean.org/register by 4/25 so we can make sure there will be lunch and a seat for you! Questions? Contact Jessica Stone (or email us).

National Day of Prayer

Thu. 5/4, 12-1 p.m.
Bethel Church

This Thursday from noon to 1, believers are gathering at Bethel Church (2700 W. Philip Ave.) as part of the National Day of Prayer. Would you consider coming for as much time as you’re able or setting aside time to pray wherever you’ll be during the lunch hour that day? (For prayer ideas, see “National Day of Prayer Toolbox” at www.nationaldayofprayer.org.)

Updated statement of faith

In July 2021, we participated in the Berean Fellowship of Churches approving an updated statement of the shared doctrine of all BFC churches, which our elders found our existing statement to be very much in sync with. Now, to make that connection even clearer, we've adopted the BFC statement as our official one, while keeping a simplified/summary version on our web site (which is basically our prior statement plus a few phrases to more clearly connect to the BFC one or that have been suggested by the body here at NPBC). Check out npberean.org/what-we-believe#we-believe if you're interested to see it, and feel free to contact any elder (or email us at elders@npberean.org) if you have questions.

Easter and Good Friday

We’re remembering and rejoicing in Jesus’ death and resurrection! A few key details:

  • Regular gathering times on Easter (4/9): 8, 9:15, & 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

  • Enjoy photo booths, cinnamon rolls, and coffee in the 252 Room! (Help make it happen – sign up to bring a dozen cinnamon rolls: npberean.org/signup.)

  • Kids will be invited up to help lead us in singing “Jesus, Strong & Kind” – learn the song at npberean.org/song.

  • No Kids Connect (First Look or 252) on Easter – we’ll all join the celebration in the auditorium. An unstaffed nursery will be available, and we’ll livestream the gathering in both that area and The Commons for families whose little ones would find a more open/flexible space helpful.

  • On Good Friday (4/7), the church building will be open from noon to 7 p.m. for a self-directed time of reflection on Christ's sacrifice that brought redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Lost and Found

Mon. 3/20
Foyer

Between the coatrack and restrooms, we have a few cubbies for our main lost and found. We’ll be donating or discarding any unclaimed items on Monday, 3/20. Please stop by today to check for any items that belong to you!

Let all the Earth rejoice
All the Earth rejoice

And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end

Name above all names
Worthy of our praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

Great is Thy Faithfulness

Verse 1

Great is Thy faithfulness
O God my Father
There is no shadow of
Turning with Thee
Thou changest not
Thy compassions they fail not
As Thou hast been
Thou forever will be

Chorus

Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning New mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness Lord unto me

Verse 2

Summer and winter
And springtime and harvest
Sun moon and stars
In their courses above
Join with all nature
In manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness
Mercy and love

Chorus

Verse 4

Pardon for sin and a
Peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence
To cheer and to guide
Strength for today and
Bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine with
Ten thousand beside
