Here at Sola we love students, having fun, and most of all, Jesus. We strive to create a safe, fun environment for students to connect with each other and be taught the Word of God. We don’t want to teach moralism, but help each student develop a faith and relationship that centers on Christ and His glorious Gospel. We strive to make the beauty of Christ non-ignorable in our students’ lives.

Our weekly gatherings

Wednesdays

Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. every Wednesday at The Garage Cafe (at 7th & Vine St) for our primary gathering. We play a game, then worship through singing together, and then through the preaching of the Word, and finally in breaking off into small groups afterwards.

Sundays

Middle School gathers together during the second gathering (11 a.m.) in the upstairs Middle School room for a quick game or activity, teaching, and small groups. Our desire for High Schoolers is that they would prioritize being a part of the large gathering while also getting involved in serving in one of the many ministry areas as well.

Please note: We encourage all students to prioritize and attend one of the three large worship gatherings with their family (9 a.m., 11 a.m., or 6 p.m.). Middle school students who only come at 11 a.m., please worship with your family instead of coming separately to Sola – we truly believe it will be much more beneficial to your growing relationship with Jesus.

Sunday Nights

High school students (9th-12th grade) are welcome to attend our Sunday night theology group from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of Sola Director, Andrew Walker. This is an opportunity for students to continue to grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ by processing through and discussing the deeper truths of God, in a very intentional setting. Contact Andrew for more details – send an email or call the church office (308-532-7448).

Release Form for Minors

For the safety of our students and volunteer leaders, each student coming to Sola is required to have a current Release Form on file. (The form is updated each year, running from 8/1 of the current year to 9/31 of the coming year.)
You can complete the form online, download a printable version, or have your student pick one up at Sola.
