Coming November 24!

Throughout the month of November, we’ve been exploring the theme of generosity. Each of the first three Sundays, we’re highlighting a different ministry that’s seeking to share God’s love with the needy – those who are hurting, marginalized, or oppressed. Then, on Sunday the 24th, we’ll have a chance to give generously to these organizations. Bookmark this page, and watch for updates below.

Share the Blessing

Thu. 11/21, 5-8 p.m., Commons

We are so excited to host the Share the Blessing meal again this year!! We’ll help share the love of Jesus by feeding a delicious home-style Thanksgiving dinner to around 300 people from the North Platte community. But we need your help! See us in the foyer (or visit npberean.org/stb) to sign up – options include bringing pies or turkey, praying over the chairs and tables, joining us in the kitchen for a couple of hours, and so much more!

Families Together offers hope (put the words “offers hope” to vulnerable children and families. As a Families Together church, we have the opportunity to begin caring for families in crisis by offering safe, loving temporary housing for the kids while also providing the time and support the parents need to get back on their feet. To find out how you can be part of this new ministry, stop by the table in the foyer or write “Families Together” on your ConnectCard.

Sun. 10/27

Starting on 10/27, in anticipation of our Grand Opening Celebration (11/3), our main entrances/exits will now be the North Entrance and the new East and West Entrances. Our greeters will help you find your way! One great benefit of the new East Entrance in particular is allowing First Look to now be a more secured space for our nursery-PreK kids. Stay tuned for details on the 11/3 Grand Opening!

Fri.-Sat. 11/8-11/9, Maranatha Camp & Retreat Center

This year we’re “creating space” to explore our personal “red dot” to know where we are so we can meet others where they are with more love, grace, and power. You’ll leave knowing and being known in ways that draw you closer to Jesus, to each other. And perhaps most exciting of all, you’ll leave with more confidence and understanding about how to share your faith with those in your life who need your message. Open to Berean women ages 18-118; join us for 24 hours of food, fun, and fellowship. For more info or to sign up, find us in the foyer or contact Sandy Willard.

Creating Spaces Update
Creating Spaces sermon logo.png

September 2019

Our Creating Spaces facility expansion is nearing completion! The carpet and flooring are done, the concrete outside is being prepped, and our final walk-through could be as early as the first week of October. Following that, we’ll have a few more weeks of finishing touches to wrap up (especially furniture, fixtures, and equipment). It’s not too late to get involved – see npberean.org/creating-spaces to find out more…there you can also make a one-time gift or an ongoing financial commitment.
