You can still participate in bringing Hometown Hope to Lincoln Elementary by donating new or slightly used kids’ coats and snow boots. Items can be left at the display in the foyer or the church office during the week.

Just a reminder: we’re donating/discarding any unclaimed items Monday, 1/17 – please stop by today to check for any items that belong to you! (Lost and found is between the coatrack and restrooms in foyer.)
We encourage all students in grades 6-12 to join their families in the large gathering and pursue opportunities in serving. For more information on how your teen can get involved in serving, or to ask any questions, contact Kristen Price (or email us).
Winter storm season is back! If we need to close the office or cancel events, we post to Facebook, Twitter, local media, and our web site. If the event is a Sunday large gathering, we also send a text message from 97000 to those with current activity in our database (e.g. ConnectCard, attend a Grow Group, scheduled to serve, etc.). Join together in taking down the Nativity scenes around the building – this is a great way you can still play a part in this outreach to our community.

Encounter Jesus through the Nativity story! We are inviting anyone who is available to join us for Lunch in The Commons; then from 1-4 p.m. we’ll set up the Nativity around the church so it is ready to be open from 6-8 p.m. tonight to church families and the public!

Many of us are so familiar with the Christmas story that it can easily become white noise within the holiday season. But we’re talking about God coming in the flesh – and there is nothing ho hum about this reality, if we’re willing to really stop and consider it. Join together in celebrating Jesus’ birth this Christmas Eve!
