Day of Giving

Sun. 11/24

This month we’ve been focusing on God’s generosity toward us and how we can respond in generosity toward Him and others. When Jesus is our True Treasure, we know we’ve received the most precious gift imaginable…the one gift that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. And we respond with generosity, because we want everyone to get in on something this amazing!

We’ve highlighted three different ministries who share God’s love with the hurting, marginalized, and oppressed – Families Together, Deborah’s Legacy, and Fresh Start (for more info, see the videos below). This Sunday is our Day of Giving, where we’re joining together to give generously to these ministries (donated funds will be divided evenly among the three). There are 3 ways you can give:

  • online

  • text message – text dollar amount and “day-of-giving” to 84321

  • in person – check payable to NPBC with “Day of Giving” in the memo line, or cash with “Day of Giving” written on the envelope

The Day of Giving fund will remain open through end of day 12/1 in order to allow the chance to give for those who might have missed out on 11/24, while still letting us disburse donated funds to these ministries in a timely manner.

Share the Blessing

Thu. 11/21, 5-8 p.m., Commons

We are so excited to host the Share the Blessing meal again this year!! We’ll help share the love of Jesus by feeding a delicious home-style Thanksgiving dinner to around 300 people from the North Platte community. But we need your help! See us in the foyer (or visit npberean.org/stb) to sign up – options include bringing pies or turkey, praying over the chairs and tables, joining us in the kitchen for a couple of hours, and so much more!

Families Together offers hope (put the words “offers hope” to vulnerable children and families. As a Families Together church, we have the opportunity to begin caring for families in crisis by offering safe, loving temporary housing for the kids while also providing the time and support the parents need to get back on their feet. To find out how you can be part of this new ministry, stop by the table in the foyer or write “Families Together” on your ConnectCard.
