Parents, we invite you to worship together as a family in the auditorium. This is a great opportunity for your elementary aged child to experience the large gathering with you. New Small Groups for the next school year in 252 will begin on August 4 during each gathering.

Creating Spaces Update

May 2019

The Lord continues to provide for the “Creating spaces to reach more faces” campaign! The church body responded generously to the bridge loan offer, and the banks were able to lower the interest rate they’re offering for any bridge loans we need from them, too.

On the construction front, the rain and wind have been slowing our progress, but the building is definitely starting to come into focus. The wall framers will be working on the building for the next few weeks and the roof insulation and roof are scheduled to be installed over the next week or two (depending on weather). HVAC, fire sprinkler, and electrical rough-in will follow shortly after the roof work.

Please continue to pray with us that the Lord will keep costs down and provide the needed funds, and that He will use this space greatly in our 2k22 initiative: “By 2022, through God’s grace and power, we will see 2,000 people baptized and growing in relationship with Jesus through the Word, prayer, and community.”

National Day of Prayer

You’re invited to pray with us as we observe the National Day of Prayer. Join us in the Cedar Room – at the top of each hour we’ll lead a group prayer for 15 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of small-group or individual prayer, then 15 minutes of break to connect and enjoy a hot or cold beverage. For more info, contact Maranatha Camp (maranathacamp.org or 308-582-4513).

What’s a Volun-tour? It’s a chance to get a backstage tour of the action at Berean – to see what all is going on “behind the curtain” and catch a glimpse of how you can be part of the amazing story our volunteers are writing every week. Please RSVP to Robyn (email us) by Saturday night. We’d love to show you more ways to connect with our church family!

We’re excited about the progress on the facility expansion! The utility pole has been removed from the alley, the foundation and floors are shaping up nicely, and plumbing is being roughed in. And we expect to see the structure beginning to go up shortly! For more info on the project and how you can be involved, check out our Creating Spaces page…you can also keep up with the latest by following us on Facebook.
