Registration details coming soon!
For anyone who has experienced loss (of any kind) and/or finds this Christmas season to be one of sorrow, we will take an hour to both acknowledge our grief and seek the comfort and peace of Christ. For more info, go to npberean.org/blue-christmas.
We will meet on Sunday at the following times: 9:15 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Please choose one gathering, as both morning and afternoon will have the same content. For details, click here.
Bring a favorite to share! Pick up cards in the foyer to share why these cookies are special to you and the recipe (if applicable), then bring cards and cookies to the 252 Room on Christmas Eve 30 min. before whichever gathering you’ll attend.
We will be taking down our Christmas décor on 1/3, from 9 a.m -12 p.m. (putting away smaller décor) and from 1-4 p.m. (putting away large décor). If you can help, please email Robyn – even if it’s for an hour or two.
As we begin 2024, our need for God seems as obvious as ever – we can do nothing apart from him! So we’re joining together as a church family to kick off the new year with 21 days of prayer and fasting. Find out more by picking up the handout at the table in the foyer or online at npberean.org/21days.
We’re making a few changes to our usual schedule for special events and to give time for our church family, volunteers, and staff to rest and connect with their families:
Large gatherings:
Sun. 12/31 – no 8 a.m. gathering
Sola (grades 6-12):
no Sola Wed. 12/20, 12/27, or 1/3
Kids Connect (infant-grade 6): No Kids Connect Sun. 12/24 or 12/31 – unstaffed nursery with video livestream available
Office: Closed Mon. 12/25 and 1/1
Shoeboxes should be placed in the foyer by Sunday, November 12. If you forgot yours, they can still be brought into the church office, during office hours Monday and Tuesday. It’s also not too late to build a shoebox online at samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/buildonline/.
Stay for lunch after the morning gatherings then help get the church facilities ready for Christmas! We’ll need help moving heavy items as well as decorators. For more info, contact Robyn.
Help us serve the Lincoln school students and their families as we host this fun event, decorating trunks and passing out candy. Please arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. with your vehicle to get parked and set up. The kids will be excited and will likely to arrive early! Sign up at npberean.org/trunk or contact Kristi Patterson (or email us) for more information.
Berean women, you are invited to Women’s Legacy Retreat! Di Mathis and her daughter Courtney Lee are a mother-daughter speaking team from Lincoln, coming to bless us with les-sons: What we hear, Who we hold dear, and Why we don’t fear. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for check in. Cost is $20 and lunch will be provided. Go to newhopetogether.com/legacy-church-ladies-1 to purchase a ticket.
We’re making a few changes to our usual schedule over the Thanksgiving holiday to give time for our church family, volunteers, and staff to rest and connect with their families:
