There’s hope in the Middle! Come to 6th Grade Transition and learn how to lean in rather than freak out over middle school issues like social media, relationships, & sexual integrity. You’ll meet the Sola Small Group Leaders who will partner with you along with a challenging game between parents and kids!
“God gives a hand to those down on their luck, gives a fresh start to those ready to quit.” Psalm 145:4 MSG. Berean’s Fresh Start ministry is doing just that! Beginning in September, we will offer Work Life job readiness training. Join our team bringing hope to those who are down on their luck. There are lots of ways to help. Bring food for our suppers. Help identify local job opportunities. Join our Prayer Team. Refer people needing practical work training. Devote just 2 hours a week for 10 weeks to be a friend. We want to be a church empowered by God to make a difference in our community; we believe that begins with prayer. On Wednesday, July 14 at 7 p.m., you are invited to join us here for a 1-hour prayer and worship gathering. This is the first of more to come through the year – we hope to see you there!

Mark your calendar to join us outside for Church on the Lawn! We’ll start with a pancake breakfast from 8:30-9:15, then one gathering all together at 9:30. We also plan to have a baptism tank that day, so mark your ConnectCard to let us know if you’re interested in being baptized. Ladies, as we are establishing our summer rhythms, let’s get together to encourage one another to keep making time to hear God speak to us through His word. Join us for a short time of sharing and refreshment. If you have a Bible reading plan or routine that is working well for you, please plan to share the details with us. This is a short commitment where you can have a big impact! Coming together with others to do something meaningful as a part of the body of North Platte Berean can be very rewarding. This is a great opportunity for newer folks to make connections and take a step into serving. Sign up for a morning or afternoon shift. We have indoor/outdoor, skilled/unskilled, heavy-duty/light-duty tasks on the list, so we can find a place for you to share your time and talents. Write “Workday” on a ConnectCard or sign up here.

Sola (grades 6-12) will not meet Wednesdays in June, nor July 11 or 16; we resume with 6th Grade Transition on 7/21 (6th graders & their parents), then Back 2 Sola Kickoff on 7/28 (all grades).

For Mother’s Day, we’d like to celebrate moms of all kinds: biological, adoptive, and spiritual (women who have contributed to helping you grow in your relationship with Christ). Head over to the Garage Café (across Vine St. to the east), choose a backdrop, ask someone to take a photo, and say “cheese”!
