Getting Ready update

How can we get ready for the next steps God has for us as a church? In 2021, we’re committing to grow, share, and connect. Find out more and take your next step at npberean.org/getting-ready.

Update for those interested in sharing financially: Our $300k facility debt (as of campaign launch, 11/15/2020) is now down to $150k (as of 3/14/2021) – praise the Lord! We’d love to have the facility expansion paid off and seed money for what He has next, such as church planting or greater investment in benevolence opportunities in our community. If you’re committed to Getting Ready financially, please be sure you’ve filled out a commitment card at npberean.org/grgive to help us with planning and communications.

Share your time & talents

The church is often described as a body, in which the people who make up the body play different parts (1 Cor. 12:12-31). Each of you is valued and has something to contribute to our local church! Would you consider exploring where you can share your time and talents? Some of our highest-priority opportunities right now are: Kids Connect, tech & sound, safety, Online Church Hosts, and others to help facilitate our online church experience. Contact Robyn Huffman (or email us) to get help in taking your next step.

AAA Café

Do you ever lack boldness, urgency, love, or knowledge to enter into gospel conversations? If you’d say yes to any of these, please consider joining us! AAA Café is an opportunity for any believer to train our hearts and minds to engage those around us in gospel conversations. It’s helpful to have RSVP’s (just use your ConnectCard) but not required.

Join the Safety Team

Do you have skills and abilities that could help our Safety Team minister to people here at North Platte Berean? As we begin a new year, a newly re-organized Safety Team will be launching, and we are inviting those with training in the areas of medicine, fire & rescue, emergency, and security to join the team. Please email us to find out more, or write “Safety Team” on your ConnectCard.

Be a Lifeline – Donate Blood

Thu. 1/14, 1‑7 p.m., 252 Room

January is National Blood Donor Month. Donors of all blood types are urged to give now to help the Red Cross maintain the blood supply. The Red Cross is testing blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies. As part of this effort, plasma from standard blood donations that test positive for COVID-19 antibodies may now help current coronavirus patients in need of convalescent plasma transfusions. Go to RedCrossblood.org to sign up to donate.
