October 19 - Longing for God's Judgment

Zechariah 5:1-11

Grow:

  • This vision points to Jesus and His work of purging our sin completely. Take time to gratefully thank Him in prayer.

  • Confess to God any areas where you may be excusing or rationalizing sin. Then turn to Him in repentance.

Share:

  • How might this picture of God’s holiness and desire for a pure people reshape your devotion to Him?

  • What “neighbor” have you failed to love as yourself recently? Ask God for a clear opportunity to love them well this week.

Connect:

  • Even good things in our lives can become idols. What should our response be when that happens?

  • Where is sin still trying to “rule” in your life? How can we help one another identify and then fight for freedom in these areas?
