Arrive early

On the Sunday when you are scheduled to baptize someone, please plan to meet the Baptism Coordinator in the church office waiting area 20 minutes before the start of the gathering the baptism is scheduled for, so that they can pray with you and show you to your dressing room.

Clothing

For the baptism, please wear darker clothing (without branding or logos, if possible), and don’t forget an extra set of underclothing! Towels will be provided.

NOTE: We’ve noticed shirts can tend to float up when someone is suddenly immersed under water. Recognizing the camera angle, and seeking to avoid any embarrassment, we recommend tucking in your shirt before the baptism.

When to leave

The baptism will take place during the last songs after the sermon ends. Please head to the dressing rooms as the sermon comes to a close.

Video/photos

The church will capture video footage of the baptism, but if you’d like pictures, please bring your phone or camera and someone will use it to take pictures of the baptism.
