Join in from 7p on Friday, 9/26 to 7p on Saturday, 9/27. We'll start and end with corporate worship and prayer (Fri. 7-8p, Sat. 6:30-7p) and keep the building open for prayer the other hours.

  • To promote unity among our body of believers and a sense of expectancy for God to move or act in response to our united, deep, earnest seeking of God’s help and intervention. To see greater hunger and a zealous desire to treasure God and follow Jesus more faithfully. To learn about and practice the disciplines of fasting and prayer.

  • We'll start and end with corporate worship and prayer (Fri. 7-8p, Sat. 6:30-7p) and keep the building open for prayer the other hours. Our prayer is that we as a church family will genuinely seek the Lord in humility and joy!

  • The practice of fasting helps committed followers of Jesus mature as we…

… practice self-control and break dependencies (Gal 5:22-23)

… humble ourselves, recognizing our dependence on God (Deut. 8:3)

… are prompted toward repentance, confession, and a changed heart (Jonah 3:5-10)

… focus and intensify our earnest prayer and intercession (Esther 4:16)

… prioritize worship and devotion to God over physical needs (Acts 13:2)

… become more attentive to God’s spirit and prompting (Acts 13:2-3)

  • Watch the sermons from 09/07 and 09/14 on what fasting is and why we do it.

  • In the past we've had an area specifically aimed at children, but this time around we encourage parents to consider taking your child(ren) alongside you as you engage the prayer stations and pray with them! You might not be able to stay as long, but we're asking the Lord to make our prayer times with children rich and significant even if not long!

  • You will likely want to park in the main parking lot on the southwest side of the church and enter through the main doors leading into the Commons (this will be the only door open). There you will be met by a host who will have a map of the prayer stations and be able to answer any questions you may have.

  • Not at all. The prayer stations are designed to help you in your time with the Lord, giving you suggestions of different items about which you can pray. These are for you to use (or not) use as you’re led. While some may wish to go through all the areas, others may be drawn to 1 or 2 specific areas. That is perfectly fine. We want the Lord to lead your time!

  • While most of our prayer stations are designed to be individuals crying out to the Lord, we will designate an area as a place where participants can gather to pray with others. Additionally, we're aiming to have another space where those praying can go for intercessory prayer from two people who will be stationed in that space.

  • Our hope is that if people sign up for an hour of prayer that they would do their best to commit to the entire hour. We would love to see people praying continuously for the entire 24 hours. However, if you cannot stay for an hour, you are welcome to come when and for however long you can. Also, if you pray for an hour and feel led to stay longer, you’re welcome to stay! Indeed, if you leave and later would like to come back, return, and pray more.

  • We want everyone to feel free to come and pray as able.

  • No. We want to see all the time slots filled with people but there will not be a limit on how many people can sign up for a specific slot. Currently, on the registration page, we have set the “maximum” number at 50 people/hour. This number is not actually a cap, but rather a help to show how many people have signed up for an hour. Just look at the number remaining, subtract from 50 and you’ll know how many people have signed up for a slot.

Depending On Prayer

How does prayer impact our lives? How can we increase our reliance on prayer? Brandon talks about how God has deeply impacted his life in recent years.

Legacy of Prayer

Esther has been faithfully following Jesus for nearly one hundred years. Prayer has been her way of staying connected to God throughout her life's journey.

Faithful Prayer

God has transformed Brandon through prayer. From big requests to small ones, his relationship with God has grown. Each prayer has brought him closer to God and shown him that God listens and works in his life.

Continuing Prayer

Discover Janet's prayer life as she faithfully interceded for Andrew while he struggled in his early adulthood to walk with God.

We’re going to be abstaining from food from 7p on Friday (9/26) until after 7p on Saturday (9/27).

As you get ready to come to the church for your hour of prayer, please keep the following in mind:

  • Please arrive a few minutes (5-10) before your hour starts.

  • Consider bringing a journal or Bible to record anything you sense the Lord communicating during this time.

  • You’ll need to enter the SOUTHWEST door (it enters into the Commons). This door will be the only door that will be opened by a host. All other doors will be locked for security reasons.

  • When you arrive, the host will welcome you, have you sign in, and give you a detailed map with all the prayer station options to utilize during your time.

  • Please pray for an hour (or longer if desired), and then exit through the same door you entered (returning your map to the host for those coming after you).

  • Want to keep investing in prayer? We'd love for you to join us any Saturday from 7-7:30pm as we pray through the church facilities in preparation for each Sunday.
