Icebreaker idea: What's one thing you can thank God for from this past week?
A way to pray: Pray for our generosity as a church. Ask God that our generosity would be a clear witness for him as we seek to see 2,000 people by 2022 baptized and connected in a growing relationship with Him.
For discussion:
- Treasuring God: How is our generosity connected to our view of God? What do my finances reveal about what I value?
- Being Transformed: What strikes me about how Paul called the Corinthians to handle their finances that I want to grow in myself?
- Loving Others: Who is someone in my daily life to whom I can show God's generosity? What does that look like practically?
- Pursuing Unity: What are some specific ways we can give of our time, talents, and treasure to support one another in the family of God right now?
