Mar. 31 - Satisfaction Sign (Jn. 6)
First listen to the sermon (posts Sun. afternoon). Then use the ideas below to help you and your group apply what the Lord is teaching you.
Icebreaker idea: Share about a time when you've experienced a feeling of satisfaction or contentment (e.g. something related to a job well done or a need that was met).
A way to pray: Pray for one another to find satisfaction and contentment in Jesus this week and to be able to share that with others, as we seek to see 2,000 people by 2022 baptized and growing in relationship with Jesus through the Word, prayer, and community.
Talk It Over:
Treasuring God: Consider the apostle Paul’s radical contentment in Christ (see Phil. 4:11-13, Rom. 8:35-39). How could this level of satisfaction in God transform my life?
Being Transformed: What drives me to seek satisfaction wrongly? How could Jesus truly fulfill these desires instead?
Loving Others: Who in my life needs help finding satisfaction in Jesus in some area of their life? What tangible steps could I take this week to help them in this?
Pursuing Unity: How does seeing Jesus as my highest treasure and greatest source of satisfaction help me to forgive and live at peace with His followers?
