We periodically update our password to help ensure a more secure, reliable connection. You can find it on the front of the weekly bulletin – please watch for a new one next Sunday. Can’t connect? “Forget” the network and try again. For help, contact Dan Smith (or email us).
Are you looking to grow spiritually and connect with others? Check out the “Grow through Serving” wall located in the foyer, or attend the Volun-tour. This tour will show you all the areas of ministry going on here at Berean and help you find a place to serve and grow! RSVP required to Robyn Huffman by Saturday, 3/3 (or email us by noon on Thursday, 2/28).
Do you have 20 minutes over your lunch hour? Do you like to read to little kids? If your answer is yes, we would love for you to help us partner with Lincoln Elementary for Read Across America Week. You simply go to a classroom and read to them for 20 minutes. You pick the day and time. It is as easy as that. Sign-ups are in the foyer Sunday. If you have any questions, email us.
In the foyer, between the coatrack and restrooms, we have a few cubbies for lost-and-found. To make space for new items, we'll be donating or discarding any unclaimed items on Monday, 2/18. Please stop by before then to check for any items that belong to you!
Update as of 1/29: The office will be closed during normal office hours on Thursday, 1/31 – the work on the Kids Connect and Sola middle school areas is scheduled for Wednesday (done in plenty of time for Sola), and the work on the main building is planned for Thursday (done in time for Worship Arts rehearsal). We apologize for the short notice, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility!
Update as of 1/24: We were just notified that the city isn't able to come do the relocation this week as expected. It sounds like maybe it'll just be bumped back one week, although that doesn't seem to be a firm commitment yet. We'll post again as soon as we know more!
This Thursday and Friday (1/24-1/25) mark another big step forward in our Creating Spaces construction work…the relocation of some of our utilities! Please note: it’s likely this will cause temporary electrical outages – on Thursday in the Kids Connect and Sola middle school areas, and on Friday in the main building (including auditorium, offices, phones, and Internet). Please join us in praying for safety for the work crews and that everything will be back up and running in plenty of time for Sunday.
Maranatha Camp & Retreat Center presents FLOURISH, an event for women to meet face-to-face and connect with God, community, and other women. This event is more than just a meet-and-greet—it’s an immersion in the kind of love and encouragement that comes from women connecting in real life. To register and view more info: maranathacamp.org/womensretreat/.

Want to be part of making positive memories for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the foster care system? Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC) is a weeklong camp experience made possible through the caring involvement of people like you! We need team members to serve at the camp (all week or at events only); to help cover the $500 cost to send a child to camp; and to pray, pray, pray! Find out more in the foyer, or call Melissa Friedrich (or email us).
If you are new to the Christian faith, just checking it out, or coming back to church after some time away, a Connection Point group is a great first step. This 8-week conversational small group offers a chance to explore faith and experience community. Your curiosity deserves a conversation. Connection Point groups will meet here at the church building during 9 & 11 a.m. gatherings beginning in February. The small group aspect is crucial, so openings are limited. Come see us in the foyer Sun. 1/20 or 27 to learn more or to sign up.
