Does My School Need Prayer?

See You at the Pole is an opportunity for Christian students, families, educators, and volunteers to gather to pray at your school in the morning before classes begin. Come and join us Thursday, September 24, at 7:30 AM at Lincoln Elementary, or meet at your own school at the flagpole any morning 9/20-9/26 (designated as Global Week of Student Prayer). For more info go to or contact Jan Ravenscroft (text only). See you at the pole!

New Wi-Fi Password This Sunday

Today, September 20
Remember that we have a new Wi-Fi password starting today – you can find it at the bottom of your bulletin. You may need to “forget” the network and reconnect as if for the first time. For support, contact Dan Smith.

How Will You Grow This Fall?

Fall GROW group season launches September 13
What is your plan for growing in your relationship with Jesus Christ this fall? How will you lead others in this relationship, too? GROW groups are our primary strategy for pursuing this mission together here at NPBC. And we’d love to have you get involved! Here are three possibilities:
  • Have a GROW group already? Contact the leader to firm up your fall plans.
  • Have some connections here? Get in touch with Dan Smith, our Connection Director, to find out about the many ways we can support you in being intentional in those relationships to really GROW this fall.
  • Not sure where to start? Go to to fill out the GROW group interest form (hard copy available at the information center), and we’ll be in touch with some possibilities for you.

New Wi-Fi Password Coming Soon

Sunday, September 20
We want you to enjoy secure, reliable Internet access here at NPBC. One new security measure we’re rolling out is a more regular update of the Wi-Fi password, which will help protect your data and our network. The current password can always be found at the bottom of your bulletin. If your device doesn’t seem to be connecting, try “forgetting” the network and reconnecting as if for the first time. For help, contact Dan Smith.

Office Closed

Monday, September 7
The office will be closed this Monday, September 6, in observance of Labor Day.

Tuesday, September 15, 6:30-8:30 PM, Quality Inn
Every day, in every community across the country, there are women and men dealing with unplanned pregnancies. Most people feel there is nothing they can do. But we can help. God had called us to be Every Day Heroes that will listen, give hope to the hopeless, and give selflessly of our own lives for the good of others. Together we will be inspired to be Every Day Heroes who help the helpless and those who are suffering. For more information call the Women’s Resource Center at 308-534-1440.

Third Gathering Relaunch

September 6, 6-7:15 PM, NPBC
Our 3rd Gathering is relaunching just two weeks from today! Remember that the format is the same as Sunday morning (same sermon and music) – this venue mirrors our morning gatherings.

We’ll be meeting at 6 PM each Sunday night during the school year, which makes this gathering a great opportunity for shift workers and for people who find themselves out of town on a Sunday morning. And we’re thrilled that people have stepped up to staff a full children’s ministry offering for our families! If you have questions our would like more information, please contact Liza or Amy in our office.

You may want to bring sports drinks or something like that to stay hydrated…we’ll have some water there, too. On Friday, lunch will be provided. Contact Russ Muehlenkamp for more details.

Do you consider NPBC to be your church home? If so, partnership is for you! Come explore how you can be actively involved in our mission of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. If you can’t make it today, mark PARTNER on your ConnectCard, and we’ll be in touch.

Engage: Make a Difference

Sunday, August 30, 6:30-8:30 PM, NPBC
Ever feel like you’re just spinning your wheels? Ever wonder what will come of all your hard work? What if you could identify one step to take, and be confident that it will make a lasting difference? Join us at Make a Difference to be encouraged and equipped to engage our mission of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ!

Our time together will be guided by the questions, “How can I know that what I’m doing will have a lasting spiritual impact? How can I really make a difference?” We’ll start with an inspiring message about the value and power of the gospel, followed by workshops where we’ll get extremely practical, actually trying out possible next steps that each of us can take to make a difference – right where God has us, right now. Get more details and sign up to join us – visit or pick up the flyer from the information center.
