Student Ministries

Here at Sola we love students, having fun, and most of all, Jesus. The goal of Student Ministries is to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to create a safe, fun environment for students to connect with each other and be taught the Word of God. We don’t want to teach moralism, but help each student develop a faith and relationship that centers on Christ and His glorious Gospel. We strive to make the beauty of Christ non-ignorable in our students’ lives.
Make sure to “like” our Sola Facebook page to keep up-to-date on all that we are doing!

Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) meet from 6:30–8:30 p.m. every Wednesday at The Garage Cafe (across Vine St from NPBC’s “Fellowship Hall”) for our primary gathering. We play a game, then worship through singing together, and then through the preaching of the Word, and finally in breaking off into small groups afterwards.

Middle School gathers together during the second gathering (11 a.m.) in the upstairs Middle School room for teaching, games and small groups. High School meets out in the Garage Café for games and teaching during second gathering, as well.
Please note: We encourage all students to attend one of the three large worship gatherings with their family (9 a.m., 11 a.m., or 6 p.m.). Students who only come at 11 a.m., please worship with your family instead of coming separately to Sola – it will be much more beneficial to your growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

High school students (9th-12th grade) are welcome to attend our Sunday night theology group from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of Small Groups Director, Andrew Walker. This is an opportunity for students to continue to grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ by processing through and discussing the deeper truths of God, in a very intentional setting. Contact Andrew for more details – send an email or call the church office (308-532-7448).
