Grow Groups

Our Group Resources page has icebreakers and prayer and discussion ideas for your group.

Start a group

An Explore Group is a Grow Group “test drive.” People you know. A time that works. Because you start it! All you need is love for Jesus and others. We’ll provide ideas and a coach to support you. (See our Explore Group guide; more for women’s groups here.)

Find a group

Looking for an existing Grow Group? Our groups list has the info you need to find a group that works for you. Contact the leaders and try a few groups. Then pick one that’s a good fit, and do your best to be a consistent part of that group for this season.

Still having a hard time connecting? Fill out our interest form. Based on the info you share, we’ll identify a few groups that might be a good fit and send you their contact info so you can get in touch with them, try a few groups, and pick one to join.

What is a Grow Group?

  • A small group (usually about 6-12 adults from various walks of life).
  • Meets regularly (typically weekly).
  • Pursues our mission of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Seeks to balance our four vision components that clarify what a growing relationship with Jesus looks like:
Treasuring God (Mt 13:44-46)
Being Transformed (Lk 19:1-10)
Loving Others (Lk 10:25-37)
Pursuing Unity (Mt 20:20-28)

What do Grow Groups do?

  • It varies depending on the people in the group – every believer has differing gifts from God!
  • We seek to let each part can play their part to help us all grow in Jesus.
  • Pursues our mission and vision using three means – the Word, prayer, and community. So we’ll often share a meal or snack together, spend time getting to know each other, and have lots of time for discussion and prayer.
